Can the clutch on a 1999 Mazda Miata be adjusted?

Question
I've notice receintly that the clutch on my car needs to be depressed all the way to the floor before it engages. It hasn't alway been like this. It use to engage before reaching the floor. It works fine otherwise. Is this something that can be adjusted? If so, is it something that can be done by an amateur?
Answer
It is probably the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder. Check the fluid level in your clutch master cylinder, it is probably low. One or the other is probably either leaking, or the fluid is going past the seals back into the reservoir.
